What You Will Learn

In this dynamic course participants will get to advance their English language skills through the lens of the SCMP’s award-winning articles.

Each session will centre upon a topical issue ranging from artificial intelligence to music and art, disability rights, and the environment.

Participants will need to utilise their critical thinking and communication skills to debate, present, and write on these subjects, strengthening English proficiency and public speaking. In doing so, they’ll learn how to enhance their presentation technique, develop descriptive and narrative writing abilities, and foster cultural awareness.
